Due to continued expansion we are seeking to fill the following roles:


Full Stack Senior Developer

Salary: c. £60,000 depending on experience plus generous bonus scheme, options of Childcare Vouchers and Group Private Health Scheme

Hours:  9.00am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday

Holiday: 21 days a year plus Bank holidays, with additional days for years of service

Reporting to: Head of Business Operations

We are looking for a forward thinking, experienced web application developer to lead the development of our digital products. You will work closely with our front-end design and web development partners, to progress the delivery of a new design, new features and integration with external services, along with streamlining the product. This is an opportunity for a talented developer to take ownership of a highly valued and powerful tool and put their ideas into the products’ development.

Duties:

  • Design the overall architecture of our web applications for consumer promotions and retail information management.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications that include databases, entry portals, APIs and decision trees.
  • Maintain code integrity, organisation and deployment.
  • Understand, implement and maintain security and data protection (the company operates to IS027001 standards).
  • Work with members of the client and project team to ensure the best products for our users.
  • Participate in the pro-active identification of product/system enhancements which may improve tool speed, security, process flow and overall functionality and performance.
  • Develop the maintenance and enhancement of work items, including performance tuning, testing, refactoring, usability and automation.

About you:

  • Must have 5 or more years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer or a comparable track record.
  • Must have knowledge of PHP 7, MySQL and Git.
  • Must have knowledge of a javascript framework (Vue JS is desirable)
  • Knowledge of AWS including Opsworks/Chef 12, WordPress, Vagrant, Ansible and Slim 3 or Laravel PHP framework is desirable)
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of developing and maintaining web applications.
  • Be able to contribute actively in an agile environment;
  • Be self-motivated whilst still being able to work collaboratively.
  • Drive to take ownership of an application.
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and colleagues internally together with the ability to build strong relationships with external clients
  • In additional to your strong technical skills you must be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the commercial impact of your role on both PromoVeritas and our clients

Project Executive

Salary: £18,000 to £21,500, plus company performance related bonus

Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify project tasks and calendarise without prompting and create/update project plan templates
  • Carry out agreed tasks, chasing clients and suppliers to meet dates and rescheduling as needed
  • Deal with multiple tasks, clients and internal stakeholders as part of the PromoVeritas core delivery team
  • Handle incoming phone calls from clients and winners
  • Communicate with client contacts via email, both inbound and outbound, proactively and reactively
  • Handle project issues / problems through investigating and identifying possible causes. Applies remedial actions as agreed by Project Manager
  • Occasional attendance at client conference calls and meetings with Project Manager
  • Undertake different types of prize draw from supplied data
  • Undertake moderation and assessment of competition judging with minimal supervision.
  • Draft / amend winner communication phone scripts and email message templates, tailoring existing resources for Project Manager approval
  • Record all contact and process steps with winners via project specific winner tracking documentation / spreadsheets / databases
  • Monitor promotional email accounts and Content Management Systems, records data and issues replies per agreed time targets
  • Populate project data reports and keep our Business system up to date
  • Research prize options (features, timescales and costs) by phone and online

Role Requirements:

  • Clear, understandable speaking voice. Native English standard language.

Account Manager

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000, plus company performance related bonus

Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 40-60 clients made up of both agencies (advertising, PR, digital) and brands / promoters direct to meet Gross Margin targets.
  • Maximise revenue potential from the portfolio through a regular planned and close ongoing contact with all levels of client contacts (marketing and legal), and gain a good understanding of their business needs creating a strong mutual working relationship. Aim is to become their trusted advisor and the go-to people for all aspects of promotional consultancy.
  • Use strong consultative selling skills to add value to a basic client brief– upsell and cross-sell additional services.
  • Take ownership of the resulting client briefs, pulling in support from other colleagues as necessary, drafting the pricing and all communication with the client.
  • Provide quality handover and work closely with internal Operations and Legal teams to ensure a seamless delivery of the project, checking in along the way to ensure project is run in full compliance with codes, regulations and company practices.
  • Work at all times in a professional, efficient manner with integrity and care for both the big picture (meeting client objectives) and the detail (such as wording of a proposed web banner or poster). See the unseen, ask the unasked questions.
  • Build excellent self-knowledge of the sector and the main codes/principles.
  • Demonstrate awareness of PromoVeritas brand values.
  • 75%: Direct responsibility for ongoing account management for a portfolio of existing clients and the projects that are derived from them. Maintaining regular and meaningful contact with clients in proportion to their likely importance and use it and other learning to gain a good understanding of the clients’ needs and plans for the benefit of the business.
  • 20%: New business development amongst their existing allocated client base by “going wide” – seeking new contacts and projects from different people and brands within the client.
  • 5%: nurturing the qualified sales leads from the dedicated Business Development Manager and turn them into regular, ongoing clients.

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator, both telephone and face-to-face. Strong presentation skills, including group presentations are a key part of the job.
  • Have perfect and persuasive written and oral English skills.
  • Have direct experience in a consultative sales focussed role probably in a media/ marketing / management consultancy environment.
  • Be able to handle a wide range of clients of all types and levels in a quality manner.
  • Passionate about quality and attention to detail.
  • An active sales person not afraid of using the phone for proactive calling, and not a passive order taker.
  • Interested in promotions and marketing.
  • Able to assimilate knowledge quickly and then to apply it to appropriate situations.
  • Commercially aware – able to construct well thought through business proposal documents and detailed project plans.
  • Strong and determined with a proven ability of hitting targets and objectives.

Salary: £24,000 to £29,000, plus company performance related bonus

Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a responsive and crucial function in the planning and implementation of legal services for consumer promotions from drafting Terms & Conditions, undertaking overseas legal reviews, through to creating privacy policies, legal waivers and consent documentation whilst identifying and managing risks.
  • To manage and deliver legal services on multiple allocated projects concurrently to ensure effective and efficient implementation of consumer promotions for our clients.
  • Review client briefs for legal services, qualifying information / highlighting any gaps in information before proceeding.
  • Draft Terms & Conditions and other legal documents to cover all necessary areas of risk and appropriately tailored to the promotional mechanic and client requirements.
  • Plan and implement legal reviews including; briefing to international legal suppliers, purchasing, managing timelines, interpreting responses, drafting reports and implementing registrations.
  • Create materials to maintain and update colleague’s knowledge on assigned subject matters covering codes, laws and ASA rulings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide a seamless client experience.

Role Requirements:

  • A degree (achieving 2.1 or higher) plus 6-12 months’ work experience where you have developed legal knowledge, or
  • A Level education (at least 2 of these subjects at grade B: Maths/ Science, English and History) plus at least 1 years’ experience within a previous role where you have developed legal knowledge.
  • Thrives and excels with performing non-routine work; quickly identifies and applies logic to new information.
  • Able to multi task, managing different requirements concurrently whilst achieving deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • High level of client care.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) with good keyboard skills.
  • Strong knowledge of how to use different social media platforms.
  • Some confidence and experience in contract review and contract drafting would be an advantage.

Client Development Associate

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000, plus performance bonus (average 10% of salary)

Hours of Work: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win business from new and existing clients to hit a sales target.
  • Be responsible for delivering a high level of service to a portfolio of clients.
  • Understand complex laws and regulations surrounding marketing, and be able to explain to clients how these apply to their promotions.
  • Delivering presentations to major companies marketing teams.
  • You will be expected to make between 20-30 “warm” and “cold” calls to both pre-existing clients and new prospects to search for additional revenue generating relationships.
  • Half of your time will be spent talking to contacts from the client development team which will lead to writing detailed bespoke proposals, meetings about projects and maintaining regular contact with the client to ensure the projects proceed well.
  • A quarter of your time will be spent on new business, focusing on clients that already know of PromoVeritas and you will remain in regular contact so as to keep yourself updated on their upcoming potential projects.
  • A quarter of your time will be spent on learning and personal development which will enable you to become a subject matter expert on the laws and regulations for promotions.

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator, both over the phone and face to face.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload to fulfil strict deadlines
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a client relationship sales or consultative role.
  • Focus on attention to detail.
  • Willing to pick up the phone and make active sales calls.
  • An interest in marketing.
  • Be a good critical thinker who is able to foresee and overcome potential issues in order to advise clients on the right way forward.
