Higgidy, makers of delicious pies, snacks and savoury foods, decided to run an instant-win promotion to tie in with their #DoPicnicsProud campaign and drive sales. They decided to give away a brand new MINI Clubman as well as hundreds of Todhunter hampers as prizes, plus a guaranteed 50p off one-time voucher off their next Higgidy purchase for every non-winner. Entrants simply had to buy a special Higgidy pack and enter its unique code online to discover instantly if they were a winner.
What we did
PromoVeritas supported Higgidy with the online and offline aspects of this creative promotion. We created unique 7-digit codes that were printed onto 3 million promotional Higgidy packs. We created a branded entry website for the promotion to seamlessly fit in with the distinctive Higgidy look and feel. The site verified the code and via a secure ‘winning moments’ process awarded the prizes and notified users immediately if they had won or not or sent off an email with the money-off vouchers to those who hadn’t won. PromoVeritas also drafted the promotional Terms & Conditions and the winner management of all the prizes.

The 4 month promotion generated significant levels of sales increase and engagement with an average of 1,700 entries per day and over 115,000 coupon downloads.
